Residents living opposite Britwell's Kennedy Park allotments were woken at 3 a.m. by a blazing minibus only a few metres from their front doors.

The white minibus, parked in the small communual car park outside 53-57 Cowper Road, was completely destroyed by the fire.

In a frantic appeal to stop the ever increasing quantity of anonymous letters, anonymous emails and anonymous telephone calls - all making serious, potentially criminal, allegations about an existing council employee and a specific serious of complaints about Ruth Bagley sacking local council staff, particularly junior employees, whilst spending excessive amounts of public money on questionable building work said to provide extra comforts for top council officials and also on what is claimed to be a conveyor belt of consultants, the Slough Borough Council chief executive has told upset and critical council staff to stop the leaks for the good of the council.
