3 a.m. Arson Attack on Britwell Minibus

Police shortages & cuts making public vulnerable say residents

Residents living opposite Britwell's Kennedy Park allotments were woken at 3 a.m. by a blazing minibus only a few metres from their front doors.

The white minibus, parked in the small communual car park outside 53-57 Cowper Road, was completely destroyed by the fire.

The fire happened about 3 a.m. on Saturday 4 June 2011.

Residents claim cars in their small carpark has been regularly targetted by vandals for the last few years.

Staements are awaited from Thames Valley Police and from Berkshire Fire Brigade.
