Pedestrian injured in Chilwick Road, Britwell, robbery

A man was attacked and injured in an attempted robbery in Britwell's Chilwick Road.

The incident occurred in daylight, circa 20:00 hours, a month ago on Monday 25 July 2016.

A 66 years-old man was walking on the footpath between Long Furlong and Chilwick, when he was approached by a younger man asking for a cigarette.

The stranger then attacked the victim causing him facial injuries and a cracked rib.

The victim was treated for his injuries at Wexham Park hospital and is now back home.

In the hope someone will recognise the attacker, police have released the above E-Fit picture of the person they wish to interview.

Police describe the suspect as:-

  • Gender: male
  • Skin colour: white
  • Height: about 5ft 7ins (1m 70cm)
  • Age: 20 to 27 years-old
  • Face: slightly unshaven
  • Clothes: black top and a black baseball cap
