Twice in the last week, Slough residents with government related problems have asked the Slough Times how they can contact the new Sikh MP for Slough, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi from Gravesend in Kent, who also uses the much shorter name of Tan Dhesi.
Web site vote.labour.org.uk/tan-dhesi shows Slough telephone number 52 00 70. However callers hear a very long message which eventually states it is not the number for the new MP. Instead callers should call Slough 51 81 61.
Calls to Slough 51 81 61 are answered by an automatic message saying Please
leave a message
. Callers are then told if the matter is urgent Tan Dhesi MP
can be contacted by his Parliamentary email address, details of which can be
found online.
Disliking Mr Dhesi's slovenly disregard for Slough folk – especially as some constituents do not have computers or smart phones or Internet access – a Slough Times investigation reveals:-
Why Mr Dhesi chose not to put these helpful details in his telephone message is beyond the Slough Times comprehension.
Mr Dhesi is overjoyed at becoming a Sikh MP. We wonder if he has plans to become a caring and fully engaged Slough MP.
Publicity-shy MP, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, has announced his public surgeries.
Millionaire Mr Dhesi was unable to hold public surgeries, since his June election more than 3 months ago, due to his holidaying. Mr Dhesi's extended leisure unfortunately meant some Slough constituents could not meet him to explain their government related problems.
