Slough Council's developing scandal has spread to the national press.
The activities of the Council's most infamous characters, council leader Cllr Sohail Munawar and his bosom buddy Roger Parkin, have attracted the august Municipal Journal.
The MJ, first published in 1892, informs senior council managers and other interested staff about trends and developments in Britain's local government. It is widely read, not only in local government circles but also in government circles.
The latest in a series of sensational revelations was captured by the MJ's news editor Dan Peter. His explosive article was available only to paying subscribers.
However when the Slough Times asked the MJ if they would make their revealing article widely available to the public of Slough, the MJ promptly did. Now everyone can read the latest update without payment.
The Slough Times gratefully thanks MJ for its public-spirited kindness and generosity.
